Railers EHLP – Weekly Roundup Jan 4-10
The Railers Jr. Hockey Premier Club left on winter break riding a three-game win steak and they kept that momentum going upon return to action earning back-to-back wins. The Railers extended their win streak to five straight after their 5-2 win over the Boston Jr. Rangers and a 4-3 win over the Western Mass Chiefs.

Jayden Blackburn
In game one, the Railers were down 2-1 heading into the second period when they broke it open with three goals by Cam Yee (Franklin, MA), Cameron Koretsky (Cranston, RI) and Jayden Blackburn (Palmer, MA) to take a 4-2 lead over the Jr.Rangers, who entered the game with the league’s best record.
The Railers added an insurance goal in the third period on Blackburn’s second of the game to seal the big victory over the first place Jr. Rangers.
In their second game of the weekend, Blackburn earned a hattrick in the first period giving the Railers a 3-1 advantage and giving him five consecutive Railers goals.

Cameron Blanchard
After a scoreless second period, the Western Mass Chiefs scored two early third period goals to tie the game at three. Late in the third period, the Railers came through with a huge goal from Cameron Blanchard (Burrillville, RI) to win the game 4-3.
The Railers Jr. Hockey Club Premier team returns to action January 16 when they take on the Walpole Express at home at 4:40.
