Railers EHLP – Weekly Roundup February 1-7, 2022
In another quiet week for the Worcester Railers Jr. Hockey Club’s EHLP team, they lost their second consecutive game against the red-hot New Hampshire Avalanche.

Cam Wickens
The Railers fell 3-1 to the Avalanche on Sunday. Despite the loss, the Railers got a great performance out of goalie Cam Wickens (Revere, MA) who finished the game with 38 saves.
In four games against the Avalanche this season, the Railers have lost three of them as New Hampshire continues to have their number.
The Avalanche scored first taking a 1-0 lead mid-way through the first period. They added to that lead in the second.

Aidan Swain
With three seconds remaining in the second period, Aidan Swain (Richmond, VA) scored for the Railers to cut the Avalanche’s lead in half.
The game remained that score until late in the third when a empty-net goal by New Hampshire sealed the 3-1 lead sending the EHLP Railers to their third consecutive loss.
Worcester (20-9-2) look to get back on track this week when they play the Valley Jr. Warriors Wednesday at the Haverhill Valley Forum (11:30 am) and host the Seahawks Hockey Club Saturday (12:10 pm) and the Valley Jr. Warriors Sunday (3:40 pm).
